Quesa Wrappers

I recently tried out Quesa Wrappers, a software extension that enhances the functionality of RB3D by directly accessing the underlying 3D library, either Quesa or QuickDraw3D. This allowed me to manipulate 3D objects at the attribute and geometry levels, and even create new 3D objects using code.

Quesa, an open-source 3D scene graph, is commonly used by REALbasic's internal 3D engine, RB3D. With Quesa Wrappers, developers can access more advanced features of Quesa in addition to RB3D. Integrating the extension into a REALbasic project is a breeze - simply drag the "Quesa Wrappers" folder into the project window.

Although you can use Quesa Wrappers as external items, there's one module that should be added to the project normally, i.e., not as an external item. This module is called QuesaConfig and can be found immediately within the "Quesa Wrappers" folder.

To use Quesa Wrappers, you need to have either Quesa or QuickDraw3D installed on your system. Additionally, experience with RB3D is required, as these classes only work within RB3D. Overall, I found Quesa Wrappers to be a valuable addition to my software toolkit, allowing me to take my 3D development to the next level.
