QuFTP

QuFTP is a command line FTP client specifically designed for Linux operating systems. One of its key features is the ability to select multiple files for upload or download, which can be easily transferred with just one command. The client was developed by the creator due to a lack of reasonable FTP clients available for Linux at the time. While there may be some bugs present in the software, it is generally considered to be stable and suitable for day-to-day FTP usage.

If any bugs or comments are discovered during use, users are encouraged to let the developer know via email. Compiling and installing QuFTP is also simple, with clear instructions provided. The .quftprc file can be modified to suit individual preferences, with included instructions for ease of use.

Some additional features of QuFTP include full scripting capabilities, command line completion, the ability to work with multiple FTP servers simultaneously, and transfer of any size files and types. Additionally, the software can transfer files directly between servers, and script files can be created using plain text files.

This latest version of QuFTP includes several bug fixes, such as the ability to transfer files with spaces and avoidance of segfaults on response codes. Despite the availability of FTP clients for Windows, the developer does not plan on porting QuFTP to this operating system. However, users are welcome to port it to other *NIX systems and send patches to the developer.
