Quicktext

Quicktext is a powerful extension for Thunderbird that offers its users templates to automatically insert into their emails. This feature is ideal for those individuals who frequently answer routine and repetitive emails. With Quicktext, users may efficiently execute both simple and complex tasks. The program offers the ability to insert signatures based on email recipient, and even offers two versions: Quicktext and Quicktext Pro. The latter contains an even greater set of features and may be downloaded from the extension homepage. Personalization is also emphasized through the use of variables; users may add keywords like [[TO=firstname]] to their emails to make them feel more tailored. One may also specify a subject and desired attachments while creating a template. There are many ways in which templates may be added, including by toolbar, by adding a button to the main-toolbar, and by right-clicking and selecting a template. The most useful feature, however, is the keyword feature, which allows users to write a keyword in their email and press TAB to replace that word with a template.
