RadeonOverclock is a software tool that allows users to set the core and memory frequency of their Radeon graphics cards, currently available only for Linux. This application is compatible with chip versions R100 and above, and has been thoroughly tested with Radeon 7500, 9500, and 9700 Pro graphics cards.
RadeonOverclock is designed to automatically detect the reference clock (xtal) from the video BIOS. In case of any issue with automatic detection, users can choose to specify the value manually. If your default value of 2700 is not showing the correct frequency while using -i, you can try 1432 or 2950.
Supported cards include Radeon 7500, 8500, 9000, 9100, 9500 (Pro), 9550, 9600, Mobility FireGL T2, Mobility Radeon 9600 M10, Radeon 9700 (Pro), and Radeon X800XL. It's highly recommended to use the memory timing options carefully and to log in via ssh to make any changes to your settings. This way, in case of screen corruption, you can easily revert back to the previous settings with a simple command: rovclock -t tRcdRD:7.
