Wallpaper Creator generates tileable and periodic wallpaper images using user-defined or randomly generated color factors. It can save the output as Web or Windows background images.
RainbowGround is an excellent utility for effortlessly creating wallpaper and web background images. Its user-friendly interface produces periodic and tileable images based on randomly generated or user-given values for color factors. The best part? It allows you to easily save the resulting images either as a Web background (*.jpg) or as a Windows background (*.bmp).
The upper left corner of the RainbowGround window showcases a preview area of the image you’re generating. Additionally, around the preview area, you’ll find sliders that let you control the red, green, and blue color factors effortlessly. As you move these sliders, you’ll notice that the resulting image is also changing accordingly.
The utility also includes brightness and contrast sliders located in a panel on the right. These sliders conveniently let you adjust brightness and contrast levels of your created images. Furthermore, RainbowGround features lock buttons, which lock groups of sliders so that they are linked and moved together as a group. Plus, locked sliders are not affected by the Randomize button.
If you're feeling particularly adventurous and want to try different values for color factors, hit the Randomize button. This helpful feature changes positions of all unlocked sliders, including the brightness and contrast sliders. Moreover, small triangle buttons serve as Reset buttons for returning sliders to their initial positions if you're unhappy with the changes.
