REDLisp is a Lisp dialect interpreter, currently functioning only as an interpreter.
If you're a fan of Lisp, REDLisp is definitely worth checking out. Currently, the software functions as an interpreter for a new dialect of Lisp, but has already incorporated support for GTK and SDL_mixer. While not everything is fully functional yet, the software is constantly being updated and improved.
Looking into the future, the addition of macros, classes, multiplatform sockets, and threads are all in the works, which will greatly improve the functionality of REDLisp. While it's not meant to replace any current Common Lisp implementations, it is a passion project of a college student.
Before diving in, be sure to check the requirements. GNU Readline is necessary (though it can be disabled upon compiling) as well as APFloat (included in the linux/ or win32/ directory). Each module requires different things (such as GTK for the GTK module and SDL and SDL_mixer for the Audio module).
Overall, the newest snapshot from the SVN repository shows some exciting improvements. Fixes to Quit, toInt, slice, and variable assignment make for a smoother experience.
