In order to navigate the game's menus, simply use your mouse to click on buttons, and use the "Next" button to proceed to the next scene during cutscenes. The System Navigation Menu is where you'll find the view of the solar system with planets. Here, you can either click on a planet with a triangular icon, an asteroid, or use the "Go!" button to see what happens next.
When on a planet, you can buy and sell resources by clicking on the appropriate icons. To play the Asteroid Field game, you'll need to use your keyboard's arrow keys to move your ship and the space bar to fire at asteroids. Once you've disintegrated an asteroid, you'll be rewarded with a resource that you can collect by flying your ship over to it.
In the event that your ship is destroyed, you won't lose any credits but will only lose the resources you were carrying. You can also use the escape or "Back" button to return to the System Navigation Menu.
Remember to use the outlined controls when playing the Asteroid Minigame: LEFT/A to turn your ship left, RIGHT/D to turn right, UP/W to thrust forward, and DOWN/S to thrust backwards slowly. Additionally, SHIFT+LEFT/Q and SHIFT+RIGHT/E can be used to strafe your ship left and right.
