RSP GZip Compressor OCX

I recently came across an ActiveX OCX that fully compresses files with incredible speed, using the standard Gzip format. Not only that, this software can also compress files in the new, even more powerful Gzip2 format.

The latest version of this software - version 2.0.0, which was released on Tue Nov 13 21:44:04 2007 - has made some exciting updates. The biggest change is the addition of the new Gzip2 compression method. This powerful method can handle files up to 2^63 bytes or 9.223.372.036 gigabytes in size. As an added benefit, the Gzip2 format also uses the integrity check of MD5, to ensure file safety. But that’s not all - this format is even faster than the old Gzip method.

Thanks to this new format, there is no longer any need to use the old Gzip method. Additionally, some minor bugs have been fixed in this latest release, making for a smoother user experience overall.

All in all, I’d recommend this software for anyone looking for a fast, powerful compression tool that can handle even the largest files with ease.
