RSRuby is an excellent bridge between Ruby and the R interpreted language. With RSRuby, users can embed a full R interpreter into the Ruby interpreter, making it possible for the Ruby script to call R library functions. The software handles data conversion automatically, but users can also write their own conversion routines to handle any R or Ruby class.
