This software provides backup solutions for Subversion repositories.
RSVNDump is a powerful command-line utility that allows seamless dumping of a Subversion repository residing on a remote server. With its ability to dump all data in the format that svnadmin load/dump can read and write, you can easily import the data into a new Subversion repository.
While RSVNDump is an excellent tool, there are specific scenarios where using svnadmin dump and svnsync can be a better choice. These tools are officially distributed with Subversion and have more features than RSVNDump in some cases.
It's worth noting that before Subversion servers prior to 1.5, users can accomplish "Dump a sub-directory of a repository" using svnsync+svnadmin dump alongside svndumpfilter. However, the downside of using this method is that the entire repository data has to be transferred, and it may not be possible to extract subdirectories.
