RTFTemplate

RTFTemplate is a powerful open source RTF to RTF engine that allows users to merge RTF templates with data sets from JAVA objects. It also has the ability to generate RTF documents by merging RTF model templates and data. In order to use RTFTemplate, you need to first design your RTF model using merge fields, hyperlink fields, and bookmarks in Microsoft Word. You then prepare your context with JAVA objects and merge your RTF model with your JAVA objects using RTFTemplate.

During the merge step, merge fields and hyperlink fields will be replaced with relevant data from your JAVA context. Bookmarks are used to set the start and end loop of lists, which contain JAVA objects. For instance, if you want to generate an RTF table by iterating through data sets, you can use bookmarks to facilitate the process.
