Rubik's Cube

Rubik's Cube is a marvelous OpenGL implementation of the famous Rubik's cube puzzle. You can use your keyboard to execute an array of functions such as generating a random cube using "esc", initiating the cube with "return", undoing your last move by pressing "delete", and solving the cube with "s" or "S".

You can also rotate the top face with "t" or "T", rotate the bottom face with "b" or "B", rotate the right face with "r" or "R", rotate the left face with "l" or "L", rotate the front face with "f" or "F", rotate the back face with "v" or "V", and the middle face with "x" or "X", "y" or "Y", or "z" or "Z". Change your eye position with the array of numbers from "1" through "8". Furthermore, press "c" or "C" to toggle between color or texture modes (default).

If you prefer using the mouse, then you have the freedom to rotate the cube and its faces. Also, right-click or press "ctrl-click" over the window for a contextual menu, where you can generate a random cube, solve the cube, restart the cube, and adjust the animation speed.

The recent release comes with essential bug fixes. There was a problem with the application when users attempted to unpack it, which would prevent the app from launching. The problem has been fixed by changing the file format to a more reliable archive (.zip) file, providing users with a more dependable and accessible app.
