This screensaver is currently in its early stages and functions more as a proof of concept. While it does provide an interesting display of your Mac's details, the software can be quite processor intensive. If you're running other applications or tasks in the background, you may notice a slowdown when activating the screensaver.
Upon activation, the screensaver retrieves various details about your Mac and displays them on screen. It's worth noting that at this time, all of the details are retrieved each time the screen is updated. While this isn't the most efficient system, it's currently how the screensaver is designed to function.
