Secret of the Lost Cavern

Secret of the Lost Cavern is a thrilling software that transports the player to the Paleolithic period, specifically 15,000 years B.C. This period was characterized by the ability of our ancestors to communicate, create fire, cook meat, cut flint, and create spears for hunting. Additionally, these ancestors could express their artistic side through music and paintings on the walls of the famous Lascaux Cave.

In this Stone Age adventure, the software reveals the life of a young hunter called Arok. While on a hunt with no success, Arok discovers an entry to a cave that was marked with a strange symbol. The symbol reminded him of a traveler who passed through his clan territory a couple of years ago.

The traveler was a painter and sorcerer named Klem, whose gift allowed him to communicate with the spirits of the world through the beautiful paintings he created on the walls of the caves he traveled to. During Arok's journey, he must survive the wilderness, which involves braving wild animals, building a "spear thrower," luring a ferocious bear away from its lair, harpooning huge salmon, and crossing raging rivers.
