Secure Storage service for the gLite middleware

I recently tried out the Secure Storage service for the gLite middleware project and found it to be an excellent tool for securely storing confidential data on the grid storage elements. This service provides users with a set of tools to securely and in an encrypted format store sensitive data such as medical or financial records.

One of the best features of this service is that the stored data can only be accessed and read by authorized users, thus ensuring the confidentiality and security of the data. Additionally, this service addresses the issue of insider abuse by preventing even storage element administrators from accessing the confidential data in a clear format.

This service was specifically designed and developed for the gLite middleware of the EGEE infrastructure in the context of the TriGrid VL Project. The Secure Storage documentation generated with Doxygen is also available for users to refer to.

The latest release of the Secure Storage service fixed a minor bug, ensuring even better security and usability for its users. Overall, I would highly recommend the Secure Storage service for anyone looking for a reliable and secure way to store sensitive data on the grid.
