SharePoint List Collection

The SharePoint List Collection software allows users to easily consolidate all kinds of SharePoint lists into a single, easy-to-navigate grid view web part. This is incredibly helpful for users who may be working with a variety of lists from different sites.

To create a list collection web part, users can simply select a site, a list, and a list view, then choose the list columns they want to collect information from. Users may also choose new column names for these original columns to be consolidated, and repeat these steps for all lists they wish to collect.

Once all items have been collected, they will be displayed in the SharePoint list collection web part. Users may also choose to filter, sort, or group collected information by creating a public or personal view for the list collection. This List Collection View is different from a regular list view and is used to re-organize the information of the list collection. Users can create as many list collection views as they want, and can determine which lists or list views will be filtered, which columns will be displayed, and which columns will be sorted and grouped.

Creating and manipulating items in the SharePoint list collection web part is similar to working with the SharePoint list view web part. Users can easily display, edit, and delete items, manage permissions, start workflows, view item versions, manage alerts, open documents, and perform check-outs/check-ins.
