As a software designed for Macs with G4 or G5 CPUs, ShowMacster offers an array of impressive features for video conferencing enthusiasts. This program allows you to stream Quicktime movies, still images, and sound clips while on video chats, and even send live captures of your current screen, which will blend seamlessly with your current webcam image.
With ShowMacster, you can add files easily via drag and drop, and start instant slideshows with Quickdrop. Additionally, users have the capability of drawing directly on streaming pictures and managing their media files by creating as many categories as needed. Furthermore, you can assign individual hotkeys to each media clip, and use ShowMacster within iChat without any hassle.
To use ShowMacster, you need a G4, G5 or Intel CPU (G3 may work, but it's best to try out the demo to be sure); iChat AV and iChat-enabled webcam are also required. The trial version works flawlessly for 15 minutes, after which the software will be disabled until the next launch of iChat AV. Last but not least, any modifications made in the ShowMacster drawer are not saved in the trial version.
