SimpleAuthority

SimpleAuthority is a software that generates keys and certificates meant to create cryptographic digital identities for a community of people and/or computer servers. These digital identities are tailored for use in other applications within the community with security in mind. SimpleAuthority was designed with ease of use in mind, therefore no external database or supporting components are needed to run it.

This software is based on The Legion of the Bouncy Castle cryptographic library- a testament to its reliability. SimpleAuthority finds applications in generating keys and certificates for different tasks such as secure email, Virtual Private Network (VPN) access, Client SSL authentication, and Server SSL authentication.

Secure email functionality is provided through digital signing and encryption of emails. VPN access provides security that is a step higher than the traditional username and password access. Client SSL authentication is useful when online content or restricted access is required, while Server SSL authentication is useful for authenticating a web server to people within the community.
