Skeleton Engine for MySQL

The Skeleton Engine for MySQL is a comprehensive framework that enables users to effortlessly plug in a new storage engine. It comes packed with pre-built autoconf files and a complete framework that enables users to integrate their own design seamlessly.

mysql> INSTALL PLUGIN skeleton SONAME 'libskeleton_engine.so';

mysql> CREATE TABLE `d` (`a` varchar(125), b text, primary key(a)) ENGINE=skeleton DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;

This installation may require the Makefile.am in the src/ tree to be edited if users intend to build on platforms other than Linux. It is important to note that the Makefile assumes the server was not compiled for debug.
