Sortdemo project is a powerful software tool that displays sorting algorithm demonstrations with ease. With the help of Sortdemo, you can generate animated sequences of image files such as GIF or PNG, and visually observe the various steps involved in sorting algorithms. This tool supports several different types of sorts, including insertion, selection, bubble (with four variations), and quick sorts. This latest version of Sortdemo comes with several exciting new features. We have completed the selection/insertion sort, moved prototypes to sortdemo.h (VR), added long names for sort/data types, and added almost sorted/reverse data types (VR). Additionally, we made gifcount local and static (VR) and enabled selective gif/png compilation with autoconf. Overall, we made using Sortdemo even more straightforward by adding selection/insertion sorts and config.h, and moving some constants into it.
