SoundHack Spectral Shapers

Spectral Shapers, a software tool that is inspired by SoundHack - an underground sound design tool, truly brings timbral morphing and reshaping into the mainstream. Each plugin serves as a group of 513 filters that work together with both macro and microsonic focus.

Spectral Shapers offers four different plugins - spectralgate, spectralcompand, morphfilter, and binaural - all available as VST plug-ins under OS 9, OS X, and Windows. These plugins offer specific features that cater to the need of sound manipulators.

Spectralgate and spectralcompand work together to take control of spectral components in real-time while also reducing unwanted noise. Morphfilter makes it possible to morph (blend) two different sounds into one, bringing a whole new set of possibilities. Binaural, the icing on the cake, offers spatial sound design and reproduction, putting the listener in the mix.
