SpaceDoc is a game where players begin by searching for a damaged vessel amidst dangerous asteroids, starting from their base.
I recently had the pleasure of testing out a new space survival game that definitely had me on the edge of my seat. The objective was simple: find a damaged vessel in a treacherous asteroid field and retrieve any survivors before running out of fuel, oxygen, or shields.
What made the game stand out was the level of control I had over my SpaceDoc ship. With my arrow keys (and W,A,S,D keys) I was able to activate main thrusters and maneuver my way through the asteroid field. The altitude control thrusters were even more precise - I was able to adjust my height using only my mouse.
The game was not easy though. The asteroid field posed many challenges and collisions were unavoidable. Thankfully, my ship could sustain up to 10 impacts before it was game over.
What I really appreciated about this game was the added adrenaline rush of having to find fuel and oxygen capsules in the debris left over from a previous transport disaster. These capsules allowed me to extend my search and increase my chances of saving my fellow astronauts.
Overall, I can say that this game definitely deserves a try. With the Unity Browser Plug-in, it was easy to get started and the gameplay was engaging enough to keep me hooked for hours. If you're a fan of space-themed adventure games, then this one is definitely worth checking out.
