Status-Bar Custom Buttons

I recently came across the Thunderbird extension called Status-Bar Custom Buttons. This plugin has the ability to add personalized buttons to the status-bar for both Mozilla-based applications and addons. Although the extension comes with a few preset buttons, you are also able to create your own buttons.

One thing to note is that the custom buttons cannot be ordered to your preference, but there is a solution to this. A better option would be to use y5's Organize Status Bar extension. This tool allows you to change the order of EVERYTHING on the status-bar, not just the custom buttons. Additionally, one of the sample Status-Bar Custom Buttons even provides direct access to the Organize Status Bar configuration, making things even easier for you.

If you're interested in downloading and installing Status-Bar Custom Buttons in Thunderbird, you can follow these simple steps:

1. Right-click on the link provided and select "Save Link As..." to save the file to your hard drive.
2. Open the Thunderbird Add-ons from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Install button and then select the file you just downloaded.
