I recently tried out the software called Sven, and overall I found it to be a decent tool for handling a SVN repository. However, one important thing to note is that Sven does not provide any assistance for setting up a SVN client or server. Instead, it operates under the assumption that you have already configured your repository and checkout.

When using Sven, I did notice that some of its methods, such as ".log" and ".ls", returned formats that were a bit strange and ad-hoc. From what I understand though, the developers are working on formalizing these formats in the near future.

Overall, I would recommend giving Sven a try if you are in need of a SVN tool. Just keep in mind that some setup and configuration will be required beforehand.
