This is a minimalist Minesweeper replica coded on Pylons.
Sweepy is a simple, albeit not the most aesthetically pleasing, implementation of the well-known game mine sweeper. It is built on the Pylons framework without any additional dependencies other than easy_install.
Installation is a breeze assuming you have easy_install. Simply run the following command:
easy_install Sweepy paster make-config Sweepy config.ini
Once installed, Sweepy is easy to run assuming you have permissions to run a web server on port 80 of your local machine. In that case, run the following command:
paster serve config.ini
The game is now available at http://localhost. If you don't have permissions on port 80, you will need to edit config.ini and choose a port that you do have permissions to use. This will normally be a port above 1024, such as port 8000, after which the game will be available at http://localhost:8000.
