Syslog2

Syslog2 is a real-time parser and event handler for syslogd. It efficiently handles messages or events from different services. When running the program, users can simply navigate to the appropriate directory using the command "cd /path/to/workdir && ./syslog2.pl". After this, Syslog2 invokes handlers which are registered for the specific service, passing on the four parameters of time, hostname, service and message text.

In the latest release, several features have been added to the install.pl script. These include the ability to remove an already installed Syslog2 and start the software automatically after installation.
