As an external library, Teddy strictly requires the Simple Directmedia Layer, but other libraries such as SDL, SDL_image, SDL_mixer, libjpeg, libpng, and libz are highly recommended.

The latest release of Teddy brings several bug fixes and enhancements, such as the addition of support for left-handed coordinate systems (LightWave), directional lights and LightWave light support for point and directional lights. The distribution has also been optimized by dropping unused sources and removing the large gl_ext.
