Text Dock Icons

The Dock Icons software package offers a collection of text-style icons that can be used with docks, panels and other related applications. Each icon is sized at 128x128 and is available in both PNG and SVG formats, with black and white versions included as well. While the developer has mainly tested this program with the wbar-app, it is expected to be compatible with other applications too.

To use these icons, simply unpack the file and then edit the configuration file of your dock app or change the icons of your launchers in the panel. One significant upgrade in the latest release of Dock Icons is the rearranged icon ratio, making them larger and more readable. Another notable feature is the absence of a zooming-function, which ensures that the typing doesn't become too small.

This icon set includes 26 different icons, such as Amarok, Firefox, Thunderbird, Iceweasel, Icedove, Gimp, Home, Inkscape, Limewire, BitTorrent, Mplayer, Open Office Writer, Open Office Base, Open Office Impress, Abiword, Ekiga, K3b, Opera, Pidgin, Rhythmbox, Totem, Xine, Synaptic, Terminal, VLC and XMMS.
