Syslog Manager is a server that manages Syslog messages from all enabled devices. It can log, display, and forward TCP and UDP messages and send alerts via SMS, email, Syslog, SNMP, and Pager.

If you opt for the Pro version, you'll get an added benefit of storing syslog messages into a MySQL database. This feature supports filtering based on your requirements, charting, and scheduling. It's worth noting that Syslog Manager Pro/Lite is based on internet standard protocol, which is specified by RFC 3164.
To install Syslog Manager Pro, your operating system needs to be one of the following: Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Professional with SP4, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, or Microsoft Windows Vista. In terms of hardware requirements, you'll need at least a PIII processor (or equivalent) and 512MB RAM or above, as well as 100MB Harddisk of available space or above, and a 10/100 or wireless LAN card.
It's important to also know that you'll need to have a MySQL database installed before you can run Syslog Manager Pro. MySQL versions 5.X or later are supported, as well as version 4.X. Overall, I found Syslog Manager to be an excellent option for managing syslog messages, providing reliable and thorough features that cater to the needs of many IT professionals.
