TI85 Emulator

TI85 Emulator is a free calculator emulator that is compatible with Unix/Linux operating systems. As a user, I was looking for a good calculator for my Linux PDA known as Agenda VR3d. However, I could not find a suitable one, so I decided to try porting an existing calculator emulator such as TI85. Unfortunately, I discovered that there was no good TI85 emulator, so I decided to create my own.

I picked some good ideas from various sources such as 'ti85' by Justesen Dines and the Z80 emulation core from the MSX portable emulator. Using these references, I came up with the preliminary version, which I improved on over time. The current version is not perfect, but it is the best emulator, especially when it comes to port3 emulation.

This emulator is easily accessible to ordinary Linux users and works perfectly on the Agenda VR3 PDA. The X toolkit used in this emulator can be replaced with Xlib or any other GUI of your choice. For instance, if you don't like GTK or FLTK, feel free to come up with your own customized GUI.

To use this emulator, you need to have ROM code from your TI85 emulator. I can't give you mine due to legal reasons, so you will have to find your own. Additionally, you need a GTK or FLTK library for proper configuration. Installation is easy as you only need to run "make install" and move your ti85 rom image to /usr/share/ti85rom.bin.
