Mac OS X icon creator with user-friendly interface available for free.
TillyTilla is a great software application that is absolutely free to use. The purpose of TillyTilla is to allow you to easily create Mac OS X desktop icons using just about any image file, or even from a file's icon.
The application is very intuitive to use. To get started, all you need to do is drag an item onto the "Thumbnail (128 x 128)" view. From there, you can select all the icon sizes you would like to create.
If you would like to combine your image with other icons or text, you can do so by using a frame or stamp. And if you need to edit your image, simply select the "Edit" check box and adjust each slider as needed.
Once everything looks perfect, simply click the "Save Icon" button and your new desktop icon will be ready to use. One thing to keep in mind is that "Undo" is only supported for "Paste Icon" and "Delete Icon". So be sure to save your work frequently just in case!
