Developed by TorrentFlux Team
TorrentFlux is a PHP torrent client designed for Linux operating systems. This software allows for the seamless management of your torrent downloads from any location, via a user-friendly web interface. It requires the presence of Apache with PHP module, MySQL, and either BitTornado or BitTorrent source, both of which are included.

One of the notable features of TorrentFlux is the ability to upload torrents using either URLs or file uploads. Users can start, stop, or delete torrents quickly and easily. Additionally, advanced torrent settings can be customized, such as ports and speeds. Its multi-user interface allows multiple users to access torrent files and assets, while RSS feeds make downloading torrents a simple, one-click process. You can view the progress of all torrents at once, as well as manage drive space and view torrent file meta information.

TorrentFlux also provides built-in user management and security, as well as private messaging and themes that can be customized by each user. It offers an upload history feature, making it easy to track uploads and user activity. In terms of administration, this software supports detailed user administration and searchable admin logs. For added convenience, TorrentFlux users can access a torrent search feature via Suprnova.org. There is also language support available in several different languages, including Dutch, French, and Swedish.

To install TorrentFlux, be sure that your system meets the necessary requirements. The installation process is straightforward and involves untarring the package into a directory, copying the contents of the "html" folder into your website directory, and creating a database and loading the mysql_torrentflux.sql script. Users should also edit the "config.php" file to adjust database settings and set their super admin user and password. Upon logging in, users will be taken to the admin settings page to configure their TorrentFlux settings and create a directory with read/write permissions to use for TorrentFlux.

New features in the latest release include the use of BitTornado 0.3.18 to support encryption, updated search plugins, and bug fixes from the Debian team. Overall, TorrentFlux is a useful and versatile torrent client that provides a convenient way to manage and monitor torrents from anywhere.
