If you're a Vim user, you might have come across the need for switching to a different buffer quickly. If so, tselectbuffer is the plugin you should try. It provides a simple buffer selector that could be an effective solution for quick buffer switching or deleting buffers. It predominantly aims at viewing the buffer list, performing the necessary action, and closing the buffer list. However, if you intend to monitor the buffer list for any change, you might want to try a different plugin.

To initiate tselectbuffer, you can make use of the command ":[N]TSelectBuffer[!]" that lists all the available buffers. You can also use it to display hidden buffers by using a count or a bang(!). There are different keyboard shortcuts available to help you efficiently perform the desired task. For instance, hitting < cr > lets you select a buffer and close the buffer list. Whereas, < c-s >, < c-v >, and < c-t > allows you to open the buffer in a split window, vertically split window, or a new tab, respectively. Whereas, < c-d > and < c-u > help you delete or rename a buffer. Also, <...> facilitates jumping to any opened buffer in the window/tab.

The plugin comes packed with several features to help you solidify your Vim experience. You can list buffers seamlessly, dynamically filter buffers based on patterns, switch to a buffer quickly, rename a buffer, and delete one or more buffer(s) with ease. All you need to have is Vim installed on your system, and you're good to go.

The latest version of tselectbuffer has several new features such as the < c-w > to view a file in the original window. Additionally, it enables users to jump to the already opened window, preferably on the current page. The new version also allows users to open buffers in a new tab, which is a much-needed feature for many. To use these new features, you need to have tlib 0.13 installed. Besides these, the new version also comes packed with a handful of improvements to enhance your experience.

So, in summary, tselectbuffer is a highly efficient buffer selector plugin that provides a host of features for Vim users. With a simple installation process and an easy-to-use interface, tselectbuffer makes switching buffers a breeze.
