URI id

I recently tried out the URI id extension and was quite impressed. This powerful extension enables you to apply user stylesheet (CSS) rules on a site-by-site basis. It's highly effective when you encounter sites that don't display or function properly or when you're just looking to improve the visual appeal.

With URIid, you now have the ability to create CSS rules that solely apply to the site you're visiting. By adding an id to the body of each page, the extension allows you to utilize the id selector within your user stylesheet (userContent.css) file. For instance, when you visit a site such as "www.google.com," the id "www-google-com" will be appended to the site's body.

In effect, you can now use the #www-google-com selector to apply styles solely to www.google.com or any other site with a unique identifier. In fact, you can easily customize any site with rules specific to that site, like making the background color a light blue.

It's also comforting to know that the extension adjusts the class attribute instead of the id selector if an id already exists. A class attribute of the form uriid-addons-mozilla-org is either created or appended to avoid any issues.

Furthermore, this extension can be installed across ALL Thunderbird platforms ranging from version 0.5 to 1.0.2. The latest update boasts an all-new 'before page load' action.
