Validate Page Markup

I recently had the opportunity to test out the Validate Page Markup software and I have to say, I was impressed. This script automatically sends the URL of the webpage you are currently on to the Markup Validation Service provided by the W3C. This will then load in a new tab or window, allowing you to quickly and easily validate your page.

One thing I really appreciated about this software was that it also handles special cases differently. For example, if you are currently on a .css file, the URL will be sent to the CSS Validation Service instead. This means that no matter what type of page you are on, you can rest assured that it will be validated properly.

Another feature I found useful was that if you are currently on a local file, the service's "validate by input" page will be displayed. The text of the file will also be placed on your clipboard, making it easy to paste into the appropriate field. This can save you a lot of time and hassle, especially if you are working with multiple local files.

Overall, I found the installation process to be quick and easy. All I had to do was unzip the file and move the Validate Page Markup script to the path ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Camino/. This software is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a reliable and efficient way to validate your webpages.
