Victoly Boy is a Gameboy emulator that has been written in FutureBasic3 by Staz Software. As a young emulator, it still has some of the original flaws of the Gameboy, but also introduces some new ones! At present, its compatibility is not as high as some of the other popular Gameboy emulators like Virtual Gameboy or Boycott, nor is it as fast.
One area where Victoly Boy falls behind is that it lacks sound emulation and color Gameboy emulation. However, it does offer support for battery saves, which work correctly, and the developer has confirmed that freeze and defrost will soon be incorporated into its feature set.
