VideoCut

VideoCut is a desktop application that specializes in creating compositions of screenshots from video files. It is an open source project that utilizes xine-lib and Qt-4, making it an efficient software for video editing. To use this software, xinelib and Qt >=4.2.3 are the only requirements. Installation is simple with just four steps i.e. unpack, qmake-qt4, make, and make install. The software is now ready to be used for creating compositions of screenshots from video files.

New features of this release include opening a list of files through a new progress dialog, showing the logo, fixing the flat style, and the options dialog. Additionally, the software has a new repository at Launchpad PPA and has switched from SVG's icons to PNG.
