Visual DV Time Stamp extracts time codes from DV AVI files and overlays them onto video frames. Time codes aren't visible once transferred, but DV camcorders store them alongside video.

Fortunately, Visual DV Time Stamp provided a solution to this problem. By extracting the time codes from the DV AVI files, this program is able to superimpose the date and time onto the videos. This added feature ensures that when you view the DV AVI file, you can clearly see the date/time displayed.
Furthermore, when users convert the DV AVI files into DVD files using DVD authoring tools, the time codes would typically get lost. However, by utilizing Visual DV Time Stamp, the date and time information will continue to be displayed on the DVD, ensuring that your videos will always be clearly chronologically sequenced.
Overall, I found Visual DV Time Stamp to be incredibly helpful for adding and displaying time codes within my videos, which has greatly improved the organization and overall viewing experience of my video files.
