I recently had the opportunity to try out the Visual Tarot Engine software and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with its numerous features and capabilities. The program is broken up into five different editions, each of which focuses on a specific type of oracle: Tarot Professional Edition, Lenormand Edition (or any 36(37)-card deck), Runes Edition (or any 24(25)-item oracle), Psycards Edition, and Osho Zen Tarot.
One of the standout features of this software is the lifetime free updates, editions, add-ons, spreads, decks, oracles, and language packs. This means that not only is the software constantly improving, but you'll also always have access to new decks and spreads as they become available.
Another fantastic feature is the ability to create an unlimited number of decks and other oracles using the Decks Creator. You can also make unlimited spreads using the Spreads Manager, and even use different interpretations of the cards in your spreads simultaneously. Additionally, you can view your spreads with different decks, compare the cards and interpretations, and make screenshots of the spreads and readings with ease.
The software also allows you to fully customize the windows interfaces and Card Table Layout, and you can choose to use 78(79) cards or only Trumps (22 cards), only Minor Arcans (56 cards), only court cards, or select by suits. The program also allows you to use the Blank cards as you like and repeat the cards (this feature is for Time-Line Spreads). You can also compare the cards and their meanings for research and meditation purposes.
