I recently downloaded the WannaBe AppleScript Utils package and was pleasantly surprised with the Sherlock Plug-In Converter. The main script of this package brilliantly scans a folder including all its subfolders and efficiently changes the creator and file types of Sherlock plug-ins to match those of the text-based web browser "WannaBe".
Moreover, the program automatically strips off the suffix ".src" from the end of the plug-in's name. It also makes sure that the plug-in's file name begins with an uppercase letter by automatically converting the first letter to uppercase if it originally begins with a lowercase letter.
The package also includes two additional scripts that perform the specific functions mentioned earlier. However, the Sherlock Plug-In Converter script covers all the features of these two scripts.
