Web2Map is an offline browser that allows users to copy entire websites and manage them in a single search interface. This software includes archive, arrangement, link checking, text search, and integrated navigation features.

When you first start using Web2Map, you'll create one or more projects, which are assigned to a start page. Once you select a start page, you can set restrictions to limit what is downloaded. These restrictions can be filters to exclude specific files or addresses, or you can set a maximum link depth. By setting the maximum link depth, you can extend a download, step by step without including the entire website.
One of the standout features of Web2Map is the overview generated based on a website's link structure, which can be modified by the user. From this overview, an (HTML-) sitemap will be generated, which can be used to start a full-text search within a part or the whole recherche. To increase the level of information, all entries of the overview can be customized to match user preferences.
In terms of technical features, the directory structure of a copied website is kept, and all links within a recherche are changed to relative links. This means that you can copy or move a recherche without any link problems. Downloads are processed parallel to using the existing bandwidth optimally. You won't notice any differences in handling Web2Map while downloads are active or not.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by Web2Map's power and ease of use. Whether you're managing a single website or multiple sites, this application can help you structure and navigate them with ease.
