WMChargemon is a user-friendly dockapp that displays the power status and battery level of an ACPI-driven laptop in a clear manner.
The WMChargemon project presents a WindowMaker dockapp that serves to display the battery level and power status of ACPI-enabled laptops in a clear and simple way. The applet effortlessly changes color to indicate low and critical battery levels, which users can set easily. This dockapp's design is incredibly intuitive, displaying only the percent battery level and the current power state (battery or AC).
The dockapp's background color turns green, yellow, or red, representing safe, low, and critical battery levels, respectively. Moreover, this program does not have an rc file. Instead, it can be conveniently configured using command line options, well-explained in your terminal upon entering the following command (without the dollar sign): `$ wmchargemon -h`.
Regarding installation, ensure that the libdockapp development library (at least version 0.6.1) is correctly installed, then type `make` and `make install` from a root shell.
