I recently completed Worm Wars 3 after months of work and I must say this installment is a big improvement over any others in the series, including the demo that was released last month. As a fan of the action/strategy game, I am glad to report that this iteration is loaded with features that make it a must-play for enthusiasts of the genre.
The game includes 14 missions with 3 bosses, spanning across detailed jungle, snow, sand, and dirt maps, with 2 mini-games, so you won't be bored of the same map all the time. The Save feature is also included, which means you don't have to worry about remembering passwords or losing your cash after completing a particularly hard level.
There are 17 Units including troops, buildings, vehicles, and strikes, with various types such as heavy gunners, laser fences, tanks, assault helicopters, missile towers, and nukes. At the same time, there are 9 Weapons, including a proper sniper rifle and the all-new flame-thrower, to make the battles even more intense.
In addition, two vehicles - the commander Hum-Vee and the mini-jet - can be controlled in-game. There are also fixed gun emplacements in some levels, which make the gameplay more varied.
