XDenSer Text Completion Component DCUs

The TxdsTXComplect software is a highly functional and easy-to-use text completion component. Available for use with any TCustomEdit descendant, such as TEdit, TMemo, TDBEdit, TDBMemo, this software watches user input in attached edit control and searches for the word(s) the user is entering. With TxdsTXComplect, it is not necessary for the user to manually enter the whole word as the text completion component will automatically complete it (the text insertion is activated by shortcut).

One unique feature of this software is that it searches for words in DataSource - see DataSource Property. It is highly recommended to sort DataSource on DataField in alphabetical order for optimal functionality. A Sample Project is available for reference.

The software offers a variety of properties such as AttachedControl (the control where text will be completed), InsShortCut (shortcut to complete the text), PrevShortCut (shortcut to browse through datasource to previous record), NextShortCut (shortcut to browse through datasource to next record), DataSource (data source with completed words or phrases), DataField (field in DataSource where those words are stored), ListWindowWidth (width of words list window), ListWindowHeight (height of words list window), ListWindowAlphaBlend (to set the list window to appear alpha blended under Win2000\XP), ListWindowAlphaBlendValue (value of alpha blend, ignored when ListWindowAlphaBlend is false), and ListWindowFont (font of list window).
