Furthermore, XFlows has the capability to transform a set of XML documents with a stylesheet, convert FO files to PDF, HTML, convert DocBook documents to PDF, HTML, and convert HTML documents to XML. Users can also export database content to XML, import XML content into a database, merge several XML documents into a new one, copy a set of files from FTP/Local file system to FTP/Local file system, delete a set of documents from FTP/Local file system, and parse a set of XML documents, including well-formed and/or validation checking.
One limitation of XFlows is its 15-day evaluation period. However, new features added in this release include XSLT 2.0 management, a CSV task, OASIS XML catalog support, an XQuery task, and a task manager wizard that allows users to plug their own tasks easily. Users also have the option to plug-in their own JAXP parser and transformer, as well as their own database JDBC driver.
