XMMS-fc is a plugin for XMMS and supports the Future Composer format.
If you're looking for a reliable FC player plugin for XMMS, look no further than xmms-fc. This plugin is based on a reference player and was created because there are very few FC players available on PC (and none on AMIGA) that can play back all modules without flaws. With other implementations, there is always at least one song that reveals a minor or major bug during playback. But if that happens with xmms-fc, it's easy to fix the source code. This is a welcome relief, as it can be difficult to fix an emulated MC680x0 machine code binary-only player.
One caveat: please don't submit any damaged files or try to play well-known FC modules like Astaroth or Chambers of Shaolin from beginning to end. These modules contain several independent sub-songs that should be played separately. Luckily, prepared versions of these sub-songs are available for download on the page below. You can safely delete your old all-in-one version of Astaroth, as it's meant to be used exclusively in the original game. This is in contrast to what the documentation files for Future Composer might say.
