Zeitmount

Zeitmount is a handy software that enables you to mount and dismount hard disks at specified times. To activate your desired volume, you should start the program or open a new window. From the PopUpMenu, select 'volume' and choose your preferred volume. Then, enter the times for automatic unmounting and mounting of the volumes. However, the checkbox 'all partitions' lets you decide whether all partitions of the drive or only your preferred partitions should be mounted/unmounted. It is worth mentioning that this checkbox becomes inactive when dealing with drives featuring only one partition.

If you want to begin automatic mounting, click on the OK-Button to start MountAutomatic. If you prefer to do it manually, you can easily eject/mount the volume by clicking on the appropriate button. Zeitmount allows you to work with multiple windows, enabling you to unmount a volume several times a day or mount/unmount several volumes. If you want to create a new window, click on File/New. To stop MountAutomatic, close the window or end the program.

Zeitmount's Preferences feature offers you preset options like the partition checkbox, volume, and times. Once you set your preferred values, they are automatically entered when you start the program or open a new window. If you desire the immediate unmounting of a volume, you should check the 'Autostart' checkbox. Keep in mind that the times should be entered using a 24-hour format (i.e., 17:00 for 5:00 PM). Overall, Zeitmount makes it easy to mount and dismount hard disks at desired times.
