Zephulor is a game that resembles an arcade game.
Adventures on Planet Zephulor is a game that was coded with the PyGame library in Python. Within the tar.gz file, you will find all of the python scripts needed for the game as well as the tools that were created to assist in level creation.
The main objective of the game is to find power-ups and hidden areas whilst dodging or defeating alien monsters that are eager to destroy the player. Within this game, several pathways lead to different levels, offering the player distinct experiences. Furthermore, various secret areas are scattered throughout the levels.
The game does not include lives or continues. In the instance that the player dies, they will restart the level from the beginning. Additionally, creatures and power-ups remain persistent throughout the level even if the player dies. If only one creature was left in the level before the player's death, then that will be the only creature encountered upon restart.
In total, the game contains around 15 levels and features 5 different types of creatures.
