2clipboard is a menu service that lets you quickly copy URLs, file names, or directory names to your clipboard for easy access and navigation.
The installation process was relatively simple. I first had to extract the 2clipboard.tar.gz file. Then, I copied the clip.py file to bin somewhere in my path, specifically to ~/bin. Finally, I copied the 2clipboard.desktop file to ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus, although I also had the option to use the 'Add Action Service Menu' feature.
One thing to note is that the software is currently available only in English or German. However, if users require it in another language, they can complete the 2clipboard.desktop file or contact the developer with their request.
Overall, I found 2clipboard to be a useful and efficient tool that significantly simplified my copy-pasting task. I also want to extend my gratitude to Armin Straub, the developer of clip.py, for making this software possible.
