In this addictive strategy puzzle game, players must outsmart the computer by creating lines of four or more same-colored blocks to prevent the game field from filling up. Lines are removed, but the computer adds more blocks for an ever-increasing challenge.
As you remove lines, the computer adds more blocks to the playing field, but there must always be a path to the destination- otherwise, the game is over. When you create a path, you can move the chosen block along that path, and any new lines formed are removed, and you earn points.
The difficulty level you choose determines the number of blocks added to the game field after every move. When you remove seven or more blocks at the same time, you earn bombs, which are especially useful when the playing field starts to fill up. These bombs remove blocks, and the more blocks removed at one time, the more points you earn.
It's easy to remove seven blocks at once, but you can earn a ton of points by removing 22 blocks at the same time- although it's also pretty challenging! The game records your top 10 scores for all difficulty levels.
The game also comes with SoundBlaster support for music and sound effects, which adds to the overall experience. The system requirements are a Pentium or 80486, 256+ colors, and 1.5 Meg on the hard drive. Try it out and test your strategy skills!
